The redesigned 2023 Chevrolet Colorado is on its way, and Chevy has packed its iconic midsize pickup truck with new and upgraded features. Here are some of the best utility features you can expect from the 2023 Chevy Colorado.
New engine options
The new Colorado will add a 2.7-liter Turbo engine to its lineup, with three variants including a Turbo Plus option and a Turbo High-Output. Only available on the Chevy Silverado full-size pickup in the past, the 2.7-liter Turbo engine options give the Colorado serious power and allow it to tow up to 7,700 pounds.
Three off-road models
The 2023 Colorado comes in five trim levels, and three are tailored for exceptional off-road prowess. The Z71, built on the standard chassis, has been upgraded from the previous model year.
The all-new Colorado Trail Boss trim gets a 2-inch factory suspension lift and has an ultra-wide stance. And, the famous Colorado ZR2 gets some upgrades, too, including a high-performance 3-inch factory lift.
Selectable drive modes
In addition to the models designed specially for off-roading, the Colorado will offer up to five selectable drive modes, so you can get the best performance no matter where you’re driving.
In addition to the fuel-saving Normal Mode, Tow/Haul Mode optimizes the transmission and engine for trailering. There are also three off-road modes: Off-Road for general off-pavement driving, Terrain for rock-crawling, and Baja for sand.
